Now that you’ve got a GPS tracking device you want to be able to install it all and you were target vehicle.  When it comes to placing a GPS device on a jeep there are a number of locations you should be looking at. Depending upon what model and year of the Jeep will have an influence as to the placement of the GPS device.  Most all versions of a jeep provide you with ample locations for the placement  of a device, and we will discuss a number of those locations in this story.

When you first look at the target vehicle which will be a jeep you need to assess the best locations on the jeep that will provide you the most access to the sky. Now let’s first start with the rear of the vehicle.  Starting at the rear of the vehicle you’ve got the trunk area which is usually a wide open space that has plenty of access to the sky through the windows or lack thereof. In the trunk region and there are great locations for the placement of the GPS tracking device on the sides of the trunk of the Jeep.  There are also a number of roll bars in the rear of the Jeep that can also provide great locations for attaching the GPS tracking device.  Now if you are going to use the roll bars you need to make sure that the GPS tracking device is out of sight of the individual that owns the vehicle.

You also have the option in the rear of the Jeep to use the bumpers in order to conceal the GPS tracking device.  Now when you are looking at bees remember this is a jeep and is used to go off road quite often so make sure that if you are there be placing it on the bottom or any lower portion of the vehicle that you make sure that you have a pelican case to place the GPS tracking device in. a pelican case is simply a very sturdy case that is designed to be waterproof and to have a reasonable amount of security for the device in order to prevent it from breaking.

Now let’s move into the passenger area of the Jeep.  When you’re looking in the passenger area you need to remember that again this is a Jeep and there are ample ways to find additional locations for placement of the GPS tracking device.  With the extensive use of roll bars in the Jeep these provide additional locations for you to be able to strap the GPS device to what.  Again make sure it is out of sight of the owner of the vehicle.  I would not suggest using a location on the floor of the vehicle due to the fact that most geeks to carry a lot of mud, water and other contaminants on the floor.

Now up to the driver’s area of the Jeep.  When you’re looking at the driver’s area again you have the roll bars to contend with the will provide you good locations for the placement of the GPS tracking device.  You also have the dashboard every of the Jeep Dole provides you locations to place the GPS tracking device on.  However you need to be sure that it is not going to raise any suspicions of the owner of the vehicle.  Now there has been a lot of success in placing the GPS tracking device in the glove compartment of the vehicle and still receiving a strong enough signal.  But, you do need to test out each one of the vehicles that you will be placing the GPS tracking device on in order to be sure that you are getting a strong enough signal before it really is time for you to start the surveillance on the individual.

And finally to the front of the vehicle.  But when you look at the front of the vehicle again you’ve been had the issues of placing it on the bumper or slightly underneath the grill or potentially underneath the vehicle itself.  Again, with any of these locations you need to invest in a pelican case for the GPS tracker to a sure that your GPS tracker is not a baroque in due to the placement of the device on the vehicle.  When you’re dealing with an off-road vehicle, there are lots of things to worry about it comes to sensitive electronics.  And if you are thinking about placing us under the vehicle there are specific pelican cases that do contain a magnet is strong enough to hold it in place and to you come and remove the GPS device.  Some of these pelican cases even include lithium ion batteries will provide you up to 90 days of activity from the GPS tracker.

Finally, when it comes to a jeep as the target vehicle you need to make sure that you do test out the placement of the GPS tracker before you finally settle on a location on your target vehicle.  Testing out a signal strength and the tractability of the device is always critical to the success of an investigation of any type.
